During a formal 30-minute interview with Crafty Apes, Dillon was invited to demonstrate his skills of rotoscoping. The results prompted his immediate hire for an internship at the Atlanta studio. His specialty became rotoscoping, green screen, and VFX compositing. The software he used is the industry standard node-based compositing software known as NUKE. Dillon was immersed in an environment with highly skilled artists who shared their professional knowledge. His impressions of VFX compositing remain indelible in the film and television industry.
